In collaboration with the School for Financial Planning Law at the University of the Free State, we offer a financial coaching certification for financial planners through our our twelve-week online program.

By working through this programme we are confident that you will be able to guide clients through transitions in their lives (e.g. divorce, job changes, death) by helping them see how their attitudes towards money and finances influences their ability to accumulate and preserve wealth.

Is the financial coach training program for you?

The course is aimed at various professionals including financial planners, independent or tied, managers, coaches , psychologists and pension fund administrators.

How the program will help you become a financial coach?

You will learn to engage with powerful and highly effective methods for coaching, leading, and advising for positive change. By learning how to use effective language to communicate in a way which addresses the concerns of your clients, you can build trust, long-term relationships and increased added value.

It is important to understand how specific linguistic actions shape reality and how they could be used effectively in coaching and leadership to shift behaviour. This will allow you to understand the importance of analysing the moods and actions of your clients in order to best manage and advise them to achieve desired results.

Furthermore, by understanding the conceptual framework and principles of Ontological Coaching, you will be able to apply a new approach to the role of language (listening, questioning and speaking) when coaching and in conversation with clients.

We also offer one on one coaching to Financial Planners to integrate Financial Coaching into their financial planning process and practices.
